I just got back up to the Bay Area today and the surf reports are daunting.

The "beginner" spot up here is 8-12 feet with 15 foot sets. I'm not gonna paddle out in that - I'm almost certain I wouldn't make it.

Maverick's (according to surfline) is 25-30 feet with occasional 35 footers. Ocean Beach (SF) is triple overhead.

Guess I'll go to the pool or yoga instead today! :(

yeah triple overhead is what i'm hearing.
wish i wasn't busy this weekend i'd drive half way to norcal.
stop in central cali and pickup some nice overhead-double over head waves.
instead i'll be here in sd getting slightly over head waves.
hopefully..
Las Vegas party trip 2-19-10. trying to drop 26 lbs...
