The poll wont allow me to vote either. But I now ride a 9' the Mike Minchinton shaped for Wind an Sea Surf Shop. Prior to that I had a 7'2" that he had also shaped from the same shop. Lovin the 9 lately.

before about 2 and half years ago I pretty much rode longboards exclusively for 12+ years, doing contests and what not, eventually though I was getting bored, so I now also ride a 6'10" twin keel fish and a 7'2" hybrid short board (I weigh 220lbs so standard shorties are too much work haha) as well as my 10' all rounder. I'm really enjoying being back on shorter boards.

Baratacus, it is funny, but that is what I saw in Kauai, Hawaii this summer. There were two guys on soft boards surfing really well in head high, fast waves. At first sight, I was really wondering what they were riding until they paddle over to the break I was at!
Sorry guys, I haven't been on the forum for a while. I will post some pics of my Joe Blair egg soon.

Have been riding my 6'2" quad fish I made pretty much everyday.
Shortly I will be spending some time on a new Toad and Piranha quad pluss center bite.
Waiting for the winter swells to hit to swap boards.

I think my next board is going to be a knock off of a Skip Frye Double Eagle. Anyone have one or have ridden one?

Can't vote, but 80% of the time I'm on a fish. 9'6" LB the rest of the time.

So many surfboards. I will ride anything I can get my hands on. Every board is like a new flavor and so far I love them all.

I couldn't vote either. I usually ride smaller boards under 6'. What do you expect, I have a small car, they fit inside.

voted for longboard. I have here my Barfoot 47" board. With a super smooth ride, Barfoot boards provide that
surfing-on-concrete feel, yet still provide stability to carve up your
average hills. It's really great though a bit expensive

i couldnt vote either but it looks like the shortboarders are outnumbered here. i ride a 6"4 x 20" x 2.5" santa cruz epoxy board. small enough to duck dive, thick and wide enough to catch waves in almost all conditions. the nose is a little thicker, so more of a fun shape board.
