Named for the restaurant where you turn off to get there, Raul’s is a fun, peaky reef break that is good for beginners on up. Raul’s usually works best on a medium to high tide but can also get good on a lower tide if the swell is a decent size. It picks up everything from a southwest to north swell and the kelp bed off shore keeps it clean when the wind picks up. To get to Raul’s take the toll road past Rosarito and exit onto the free road just before the AM/PM gas station. Raul’s is located at K-46.
