Punta Cabra Surf Guide

Punta Cabra is just a 15 minute drive north of the fishing village of Erindera. The great thing about Punta Cabra is that it provides two distinctly different surfing options depending on the conditions. On the south side of the point there is a sand bottom bay (known as Half Moon Bay) that is protected from the prevailing north-northwest winds and picks up the south swells in the summertime. On the north side of the point there is a long sandy beach (appropriately called Long Beach) that is open to everything from a southwest to a northwest swell. In the event of a south wind the southern part of Long Beach will stay clean and fun because of the point.
