Las Gaviotas Surf Guide

Las Gaviotas is a really fun right hand reef that works on everything from a south swell to a north. This wave is fun and lined up even when it is only waist high. It can hold swells up to double-overhead and is good for beginners and advanced surfers alike. The wave is located in front of a gated community which makes access difficult. You either need to know someone who has a house there or be renting one yourself to get in. To get to Las Gaviotas, take the toll road past Rosarito and exit onto the free road just before the AM/PM gas station. Gaviotas is located at kilometer 40.
